For those of you who don’t know, I traveling to London for work (Through The Looking Glass) with my boss, her son and his new fiance.  We are checking out new hotels, antique shops and doing a little sight seeing too 🙂

After our 7 hour flight and only 4 hours of sleep…we were picked up at the airport in London by Peter, Debbie’s friend and associate from London.  We headed to Arundel, West Suxxex to check out a couple of hotels.  They were not great so I won’t mention them, but we did get to see the awesome town which has a castle sitting right in the middle of it.  We had a very early breakfast (our bodies thought it was a midnight snack) in a cute little coffee shop, Grounds and enjoyed some delicious coffee and croissants.  We also popped into one of Debbie’s favorite antique shops, Spencer Swaffer Antiques, which had some awesome pieces.

After that we headed to Chichester to check out a couple of more hotels.  One we found, The Ship Hotel, we will totally use for future trips.  It was a great find!  A two hour drive later we arrived at the flat in London at Sloan Square.  It is awesome!

We enjoyed lunch at Chelsea Brasserie, where I enjoyed some white bean soup, which was delicious and some wild boar pasta dish that was okay.  We headed to Portobello Road for the Saturday market.  It was crazy crowded and very entertaining.  We headed to the grocery store before heading back to apartment for some rest, relaxation and a little blogging 🙂

Enjoy the pictures.  (click each to enlarge)
